Junior Seau is one of several former NFL players to commit suicide in recent years. An autopsy later revealed brain damage consistent with concussion related head trauma. The NFL's fame and revenue continue to increase, however so do concussion problems.

As you can see, the numbers look slightly better from 2012 to 2013. Still the numbers of concussions that go undiagnosed are far too great and dangerous for the players.

According to these statistics 85% would play through a concussions. While a big percent is saying that the NFL is not committed to the player safety.
